Privacy Policy

When you visit 1DayWeb or get in touch about a project, you share some information with us. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and what we do with it. We keep it short because there is genuinely not much to say — we are a one-person studio, not a data company.
Information you give us directly
When you reach out via email or WhatsApp, we receive whatever you send — your name, email address, and the details of your project. If you fill in a contact form, we get the same. We use this only to scope and deliver your project, and to follow up if we have not connected yet.
We do not ask for more than we need. If you send us brand assets, copy, or any other files as part of the brief, those are kept securely and used only for your build.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours collects basic usage data automatically. We use PostHog and Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site — things like which pages are viewed, how long someone stays, and what country they are visiting from. This helps us improve the site.
This data is anonymised and aggregated. We cannot identify you individually from it. No behavioural profiles are built, and none of this data is sold or shared for advertising purposes.
Third-party services
We use a small number of external services to run the business. Each has its own privacy practices:
- PostHog — analytics and session events
- Google Analytics — traffic and engagement data
- Vercel — website hosting; your IP may be logged at the server level
We do not integrate advertising networks, tracking pixels, or any third-party remarketing tools.
Portfolio
We may show your finished website in our portfolio and mention it publicly as an example of our work. If you would rather keep it private, just say so — before or after delivery — and we will not feature it.
How long we keep your data
We keep project-related information (emails, files, brief notes) for as long as it is useful for support or reference. If you want us to delete everything we hold about you, email hello@1dayweb.live and we will do it promptly.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold, correct anything wrong, or delete it entirely. Just email hello@1dayweb.live. We will get back to you within one business day.
Changes
If we ever make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top. We will not quietly expand what we collect without updating this page.
